How do I register for Maha ID?

Is Maha ID registration free?

Can I register or use Maha ID without Aadhaar?

How do I log in to Maha ID?
On Citizen Login, enter your Maha ID or your Aadhaar Number together with your password. A Forgot Password option is available on the official portal if you need to reset it.
Where do I download my Maha ID Card?
After you log in, the documented path is Profile and then Quick Actions, where the MahaSarathi Card download appears. You can log in again and download it whenever you need another copy, and the same identity can also be kept in DigiLocker.
What is the Maha ID Card PDF password?
If the card is a password protected PDF, the password rule is set by the official portal. Use the exact rule shown there or in the Citizen User Manual. For your security this guide does not publish a password formula, because an incorrect one will not open the file.
Can I keep my Family ID in DigiLocker?
Yes. The Government of India has made the MahaSarathi Family ID available through DigiLocker as a legally valid digital credential. Eligible residents can fetch an existing Family ID or enrol for a new one with consent, using only the official DigiLocker app or website.
Is there an official Maha ID mobile app?
